Standard legal boilerplate. Check the Java EULA (and similar stuff) for something really close to the same deal. Java redistributables always had to carry the disclaimer (can't remember if they still do). Example:

Yeah, I'm not crazy surprised. I remember someone at an old job declaring once "We live in litigal times" ... and stuff like this so clearly reminds me of that fact.
