Have you seen Rockstar's statement regarding the mod yet? If Kotaku had it right, I think they may be skirting the edge of the truth.
But on topic, you're absolutely right. It's no news though--Americans react this way to everything. Swordfish had a scene that blows shrapnel through bystanders in slow motion, but it's Halle Berry's topless scene that had reactionaries in a tizzy.
We should seperate out, I think, the potential problem with having the content on the DVD in the first place and then trying to fend off the media/lawsuits/etc.
I've got a closing thought on it, but I'll wait for Jeff's interview to have a day in the sun before posting anything new.
