Soonish in rumorland mumblevine terms, of course. Makes sense - although it seems that the iPod would really just be a an iPhone without the Phone at that point.

Actually, looking at it that way - would it even be that hard to produce?

  1. My iPod, which is ancient by current iPod standards, can dual-boot. I've got Linux on it.

    An iPod is essentially just a hard drive with some headphones attached. Everything else is software, so putting OSX on it shouldn't be too hard.
