I didn't really go seeking it ... consider it something of an expirement. I'm not really expecting to make any cash out of the deal, but figured I'd try it out and see if it was intrusive.
I've never really entertained the notion of Cathode being a profit, so if they turn intrusive I'll have them turned off.
Comment spammers should know all links have "nofollow" forcibly added to them - so you aren't getting any PageRank bump from spamming my blog. You're just annoying me.

I've got them on my site as well, but I'd imagine the majority of my readers do what I do -- mentally block out them out. Or simply read the RSS feed.
