As I type this,
Serenity tops out the
Technorati Popular Movies list. I'm only pointing this out that since the movie didn't make profit expectations, it's been said that the word of mouth campaign hasn't been terribly successful. I'd say this proves otherwise. The mumblevine worked, it just can only do so much so fast. Traditional marketing is where the effort went weak.
