It's sounds like it might take an almost Paradroid angle to an FPS, where you'll be able to control various robots to solve your problems, but to be honest it's hard to tell with the information provided. Even if that angle is ignored, it looks fairly atmospheric and might avoid the FPS rut that even the likes of Half-Life 2 seems stuck in.
